Dayhack
What to track in a biohacking journal
A useful biohacking journal tracks four things every day: what you ate, how you slept, how you trained, and the urges you held or gave in to. Then you review the week before changing one thing at a time. Dayhack puts those four logs in one free app, with a seven-day review.

The four daily logs
- Food: foods, portions and how you felt. No calorie counting needed.
- Sleep: bedtime, wake time, sleep quality and morning energy, as you felt them.
- Training: strength or cardio sessions with exercises, sets, reps, loads and durations.
- Urges: what you want more control over, such as screen time, nicotine, alcohol or gambling, with triggers and the alternative you chose.
Change one variable at a time
A journal turns impressions into a record. Review seven days, pick one change, keep the rest stable, and read the next week. Dayhack's free seven-day review shows meal entries, completed workouts, best recorded sets, sleep and craving ratings side by side. Dayhack Plus adds 30, 90 and 365-day reviews.
What a journal is not
Dayhack uses the times and feelings you enter. It does not measure sleep stages, estimate calories or give a health score. It is not a medical device and does not treat addiction. Stopping alcohol or sedatives suddenly can be dangerous: seek medical advice first.
